Abstracts & Poster Sessions
All abstracts accepted for the 2021 SOHO Annual Meeting have now been published (embargo 5:00 pm CT | August 31, 2021) and are available online at "Clinical Lymphoma, Myeloma & Leukemia" (CLML), the official journal of the Society of Hematologic Oncology, published by Elsevier. If your abstract has been selected for Poster Presentation, go to the ePosters link to submit your ePoster for online viewing and for a live, virtual poster session. Visit SOHO ePosters at soho.click/posters.
Two Live Poster Sessions are scheduled as virtual events during SOHO 2021 on the ePoster platform at soho.click/posters. An Awards Session will be held prior to the second ePoster Session on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 6:15-6:30pm CDT (UTC -5). The ePoster sessions will be live on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 6:00-7:00AM CDT (UTC -5) and 6:30-7:30PM CDT (UTC -5) on the ePosters platform at soho.click/posters.
Hematology/oncology specialists from around the world will gather at the international annual meeting of the Society of Hematologic Oncology. With this in mind, SOHO invites delegates and attendees to submit an abstract for poster presentation and/or oral presentation during the event.
Eight awards will be presented for best posters:
◼ $1,000 each for the top 3 posters; and,
◼ $500 each for the next 5 posters.
Oral Abstract Presentations
General Sessions will include a number of oral abstract presentations during the 2021 annual meeting. Abstracts considered for oral presentation will be drawn from a select group of outstanding submissions. These Oral Abstract Presentations also will be considered for "best poster" awards.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
The SOHO scientific committee encourages all interested participants to attend the conference and to submit an abstract for publication in the Meeting Proceedings and for Poster Presentation. The SOHO Scientific Committee will evaluate the quality of submitted abstracts on the basis of the following criteria: novelty of the research, significance of the findings and clarity. The scientific committee is inviting abstracts to be submitted for publication, oral presentation and poster presentation at this international meeting in the following areas:
◼ Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
◼ Acute Myeloid Leukemia
◼ Cellular Therapy
◼ Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
◼ Chronic Myeloid Leukemia
◼ Hodgkin Lymphoma
◼ Aggressive B-Cell Lymphoma
◼ Indolent B-Cell Lymphoma
◼ Mantle Cell Lymphoma
◼ T-Cell Lymphoma
◼ Myelodysplastic Syndromes
◼ Myeloproliferative Neoplasms
◼ Multiple Myeloma
The committee seeks original papers that address scientific questions, demonstrate new research/developments or contain original scientific results specifically related to the treatment of patients with hematologic malignancies. Submitted abstracts must be limited to 350 words or less (abstract body) and represent original work, although previously published work may be used to fulfill this requirement. Submission of isolated case reports and hypotheses unsupported by data is discouraged. SOHO reserves the right to reject any abstract for failure to comply with publication guidelines. All those accepted for abstract/poster presentation will receive a complimentary registration. Note that reimbursement for travel and hotel expenses is not provided.
Abstract submissions must be made electronically through the Online Submission Page and uploaded in Microsoft Word format. Do not include tables, illustrations, graphs or figures with the abstract. Note, the abstract submission deadline is June 1, 2021!
